Positive confession is the practice of saying aloud what you want to happen with the expectation that it becomes a reality.

Since you are what you think about most of the time. It is important even as you set goals, your thoughts, confessions and affirmations are in alignment with your goals.

There are two extremes to this: the ones who set unrealistic goals and want to use positive confession as a magic wand to achieve these goals, and those that see no reason to practice positive confession as they see it as lying.

Words have power. They can hurt and they can bless. Words are spiritual; they carry power.

Confession is not denying physical facts and temporary circumstances. It is a practice of using your words to create the kind of reality you want.

Positive confession

We have to be intentional about dropping bad habits and replacing them with good ones.

I had to learn that there was power in my tongue. If you confess to having a good day, you will realize that your day is better than when you complain.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue… – PROVERBS 18:21

I learnt that when you start a confession, you might not believe it the first time, second time, or even several times after that but it’s important to continue confessing positive things into your life. After some time, it starts to resonate with you and you actually start to believe it.

To help me remember my daily positive confession /affirmation, I downloaded an app, My Affirmation, from Google Play.  It comes with default positive affirmations and it also allows you to add yours.

After a while, what you regularly confess and practice / work on becomes your reality.

Do you practice positive confession? Has it worked for you? Do share your experience with me .
