We all have a favorite month of the year, or not. Well, I have a few months that I used to really love in a year. For instance, May was typically the month I called my month of a million little miracles because significant things would usually happen to me in that month. March was def a favourite month, #birthmonth, duh!
However, as I started 2024, God laid it on my heart to stop attributing miracles or growth just to certain months in the year and open up to having miracles all through the year and that changed my perspective.
November, for instance, is such an underrated month. Just when you are thinking of giving up on the year, it can become a month of 11th-hour miracles.
Let me give you another example.
TechNation Endorsement
I put in my UK Global Talent application last year in October, and to be honest, I was anxious as I awaited feedback. Tell me why on the first day of November, I got that email that opened new doors for me and my family!!!
Oh yeah, I’m making it official to you, my blog family, that I got endorsed as an Exceptional Talent by Tech Nation UK. This endorsement is one that I am grateful for, not only is it a miracle to me, but it also serves as a validation of the work I’ve put in my career and other volunteering/leadership positions over the years.
I should do a proper write-up about my endorsement journey. Is this something you would be interested in? Let me know in the comment section.

Moving to a new country
Relocating was something I had wanted to do for some years, and when I finally did, it came with a bag of mixed emotions: gratitude, joy, and a bit of anxiety among other feelings. Things haven’t gone as ‘smoothly’ as I thought they would, but I’m also not where I used to be, not just in my career, but in how I view life, my relationship with God, my priorities, etc. As I look back, I’m glad we moved when we did.
I’ve learned that settling in a new country is more of a marathon than a sprint, and having the right community and information can make it a bit more easy.
Blog New Look
Did you notice? Inserts happy dance. I finally got around to giving the blog a new look.
It’s been 9 years of blogging and creating value for you and I’m so happy that even when it was challenging, like when I bought and self-hosted the blog, I was able to do it by myself. The blog has evolved with me, and though the goal stays the same, I hope you grow with me as I share.
As we build up to 10 years of blogging, what new things would you like to see me share? Do share with me in the comment section. Also, please share this blog post with folks that you know would be blessed by it.
As I look back on this year, the highs and the lows, the challenges and the wins, the people and the country, here are a few life lessons I’ve learned.
Life Lessons Lately
- Don’t wait for the perfect conditions before you pursue an endeavour, there will always be challenges
- Be present in your own life: take videos, appreciate yourself, journal, and be. Time flies by so fast
- Sometimes, life won’t go as you planned, and that’s okay
- The journey/process is as important, (and maybe more important), as the destination
- Having the right community or people around you is such a flex, don’t joke with it
- One event, one day, or one person can come into your life and turn it all around
- Life goes by quickly when you are not watching
- Your worth is not in ‘the work you do’ or the money you own, the true definition of your worth is in who God has called you to be.
- Live boldly
- Document your journey, publicly where possible. you never know when you’ll need to show evidence

Welcome to November, friends! How has the year been for you?
I suggest you take some time to review your year so far and make plans to be more present in your life as the year wraps up. Don’t beat up yourself so much over the goals you haven’t achieved, instead, look out for the small wins, including building a community of like-minded people.
Wishing you love and light, and a merry Christmas in advance.
