I NEED TO Y.A.B YOU!!!

Hey dear reader! I need to Y.A.B you and that this very moment. Permit me to dedicate this post to Y.A.Bing you.

I’m sure my fellow Nigerians know what ‘yabbing’ means. However to enlighten y’all: to yab someone means to insult or abuse that person.

The question that might come to your mind is, “who am I to yab you and why would I want to do that?”.

Well, I have an answer for you: which is, I am not yabbing you in that sense.

My Y.A.B means You Are Beautiful. Yes, I am dedicating this post to describe to you how beautiful you are (whether you are male or female).

You see, a wise man said something and I quote “…. I am fearfully and wonderfully made… ” . This is actually part of a Bible verse in Psalms 139:14.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. When God created you, He looked at you (the work of His hands) and He exclaimed, PERFECT!

The best thing you can do for yourself is to FIND YOU, and BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOU.

Accept that you are unique, for that is what makes the world a beautiful place. Create a niche for yourself; don’t be a copycat; and don’t make your life calling to be “walking in someone else’s shadow”.

Find out what makes you different from your neighbor; have goals; own a diary/journal – write about your struggles, failures and accomplishments.

Let go of the jealous mindset; make friends with the kind of people you aim to be like; have a mentor; be prepared to learn and unlearn some of the things you knew before.

There’s more to life than being blinded by rage and jealousy; YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL THE WAY YOU ARE; your existence makes the world a better place; you’ve got a purpose to fulfill in life.

So instead of sitting down and moping around, why don’t you take some time to retreat, re-examine and then rejuvenate?

Take time to meditate, read and study who you are and what you can do to make a difference in the world.

It is not too late to start. The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the next best time is NOW.

So what are you waiting for? AWAKE! Yes you, Awake, Stir up your inner beauty and GO AND RULE YOUR WORLD!!!
