Did you know that life as you know it can change in the blink of an eye? Yes, in this story, Sade experienced it firsthand, I hope this story inspires you.

It was a cool Wednesday morning.

Sade and Tunji had just finished their morning workout and were gisting/resting beneath a big mango tree.

The day had a great feel to it and they happily discussed their goals and big dreams; the newest product innovation they were about to launch.

Everything going on smoothly, they closed their eyes and took in the moment.

Realizing that she had dozed off, Sade opened her eyes to wake up Tunji, but he was not by her side. Just as she was about to pull up her phone to call him, she realized his clothes were beside her, wait, and his shoes too.

“What happened? Where did Tunji go?” She thought to herself and did he go naked?

Only then did she realize that her phone had been vibrating incessantly, her notifications kept on buzzing.

Quickly, logging into Twitter, she saw the myriads of notifications, people reporting their friends, families and colleagues missing.

What could be going on, she wondered.

A thought entered her mind but she pushed it away. No, it cannot be that. No, it can really not be that.

Her mind went back to the discussion she had with Tunji just a few days ago, as he preached to her yet again, explaining that God would still come to take his people away from this planet earth. She had argued then that there was no way that could happen, what, with all the things she was yet to do in her life, plus she wasn’t just up for all the religious stuff.

Did this mean the rapture was real and had taken place?

Just as she pondered on this, friends of the Christian Twitter folks began to attest that they couldn’t reach some of their Christian friends and the ones they could reach were just weeping and lamenting that they had missed the rapture.

And so the tears began to drop as Sade began to weep, realizing the truth of what had just happened.

Thank you for reading through, dear friend. Indeed, life, as we know it, can change just in the blink of an eye through just a single incident just as you have read above.

I’ll just like to use this moment to remind you of God’s love for you. In John 3:16, The Scripture attests to God’s love for us and how He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus to die for our sins.

Just like Tunji told Sade, the Bible in John Chapter 14 lets us know that Jesus went to heaven to prepare a habitation for us and He is coming back to take those who accept His love into their hearts with Him to live in the mansions far above the sky.

It would be wrong if I don’t tell you about this, about Christ’s love and His imminent return. After He comes back for His own, He’ll then release judgement upon the world in phases, The Book of Revelations in the Bible captures the different things that will take place in the world at that time.

Accept God’s love into your heart today simply by praying a prayer of faith as described below:

Lord Jesus, I realize that you came to this world to die for my sin. I acknowledge my sinful ways and admit that I cannot by myself save myself.
Therefore I come to you today in humble surrender asking that you wash me from my sin and give me the grace to live a life daily surrendered to you.
Thank you for accepting me into your fold. I become a new creature and old things are passed away for in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer, I welcome you into God’s kingdom.

To grow in your faith:
1. I encourage you to get a Bible (you can also download the YouVersion app pending when you can get a physical Bible) and start reading about Jesus especially from Matthew.
2. Join a Bible-believing church, a local community where can learn about God and share together with other brethren in Christ. You can also join online communities/churches
3. Keep trusting and daily walk by Faith.

I pray and believe that the Holy Spirit will guide you in all you do.

God bless you.

Love and Light,

Esthitude.
