Randomly listening to music with good titles on Youtube pays off, yeah it does.
At the office, I frequently listen to music on Youtube from artistes like Anthem Lights, One Voice Children Choir, Elevation Worship, Hillsong Worship and several others; thankfully, Youtube brings up artists in similar genres as suggestions and that is how I stumbled on musicians like Lauren Daigle, Thomas Rhett, For King and Country, etc.
At first, I was captivated by the video of “God Only Knows”, but the wordings and the way it was sung got to me and I couldn’t resist, I had to download it and several others of their songs.
God only knows talks about going through situations so painful, you probably cannot share with another, about smiling to pretend you are fine even when you are not. It especially addresses suicide and then it explains that through all these, there is a kind of love that Knows (God’s love). It also captures the need to love, listen and be there for each other.
