It’s New
It’s November
It’s the Penultimate.

Welcome dear friends to November, the second chance to start anew. Ahooo!
January is the 1st i.e. no 1, while November is the 11th (two 1’s); another opportunity to try again.

I’m so glad it’s November, and the first thing that comes to my mind is Thanksgiving. You see, I’ve been counting down to December and with it been November, my countdown is closer😁.

I’m stepping into November like … Let’s Go There ..

So thanksgiving; thanksgiving is usually commemorated in the month of November and truly, it is a time to look back and be thankful.

In His infinite mercy and grace, God has sustained us from January till now; despite recession, naira devaluation, lots of death recorded, diseases and a whole lot, we’ve been kept and preserved. It is worth been thankful for.

Even if you’ve faced really stormy weather and some problems managed to throw you overboard, there’s a reason why you’re still here, so be thankful.

Be thankful ‘cos we’ve got two more months to work at those goals we laid down at the beginning of the year.

So, as November begins, find time to think and re-strategize on how far you’ve come and what is left to be done. Write down what’s left and be smart about achieving your goals.

As I sit back and think back on my goals for the year, I notice that some of my priorities changed and so did the goals. Also, I have a new perspective on life (especially in some key areas).

So for this month, some of my goals are:
– complete the book I’m currently reading:-  The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. I have been reading it since last month and I’m on day 10.
I have a lot to write about this book, but I’ve decided to hold on till I’m done with it.

– achieve more balance in my life. I have so many things I’m doing at the moment and some seem to be lagging behind, therefore, I’m seeking to achieve more balance this month.

– commit to serving God more. I love God and I can’t get enough of Him, however, life sometimes get in the way and distracts me from keeping my gaze totally on God. So, I’m committing myself to giving myself wholly His service especially as I read the book – The Purpose Driven Life.

So my dear reader, this is not the time to give up on yourself. Look back, be thankful, take an audit of your life so far and re-strategise, for November brings you an opportunity to try again.

Have a happy November.

I hope you soar.

With love,
Esthitude.
