Oh! The depth of communion Abba calls us to.

Like the Shulamite woman whose delight is her husband, He wants us to delight in Him, to desire Him and pursue a love so deep, we could never go away.

Oh, how sweet is the Father’s love for us. So sweet, even death could not stop it. In death, He set captives free and then He rose again, radiating so much love, our hearts could not resist.

This love can only be reciprocated with submission, adulation and true love. It can only be accepted with a heart of humility, knowing we do not deserve it.

And so, we accept and reflect this love. Our lives, like a clear, shining mirror, reflect the life of our Lover so much that others are drawn to Him in us.

As we reflect His love, He calls us deeper, drawing us nearer to His heart.

Now, we cannot live without Him, thus, He becomes all we need. Like oxygen, we know we can’t do without Him, I guess that’s why we call Him, Our Sufficiency and Sustenance.

Here, at the heart of this love, is a deep communion, a fellowship so pure and refreshing, we do not want to leave.

Here, at the center of it all, is a call to submission, where we lay down all our wins, losses, pride, and pain. We lay it all down and focus on Him.

There is a call, from our Lover’s heart it rings.
A call to sweet communion, a call to deeper intimacy, a call to refreshing fellowship.
