Hello dear friend, how are you and how have you been?
Welcome to December 2020, this year has been a lot; that you are alive and able to visit my blog and read this post is a testimony in itself.
For me, the major thing that has sustained me through the many ups and downs of this year is God’s love for me. Yes, I already know God loves me, but I’ve experienced that love on a deeper, more intimate level this year and that has been a major one for me.
Through the different seasons this year has brought me, God has shown over and again that He’ll always be there for me even when others leave and when no one else is there, I can rest safely in His arms.
Well, see me typing a long story already☺ and I haven’t even gotten to the crux of this post (don’t blame me, I’m drunk on love🤭)
Over time, when I wake up on most days, I usually wake up to whispers, by God’s Spirit, of love, promises, and assurances. The past few days though, have been a bit stressful for me, but I woke up this morning to that feeling of peace and assurance, I picked up my phone to use my Youversion app, and the passage that hit me was Jeremiah 31 vs 3. That definitely couldn’t have been a coincidence and it warmed my heart so much that I had to write a love letter to Abba. You see, He is ever so mindful of me and the least I can do is to love up on Him.
I hope you enjoy it and it blesses you.

This kain love dey sweet me,
It’s a love undeserved,
Even when i seemed oblivious of Him,
He loved me still.
He writes me so many love letters,
His love is true,
His love builds me up,
I wake up to whispers of sweet promises.
No one has ever loved me like this,
Sometimes, I ask
Why do you love me so?
And yet he keeps loving me.

This love has no beginning,
It does not change,
It has no end,
It is a love without measure.
This love has taught me to love,
It has taught me to accept love,
it has taught me to wait on love,
I bask in this love daily.
Abba, your love is kind,
Your love is encompassing,
Your love is enriching,
I love you, Abba.
