There you are
In a bid to ‘look perfect’ to everyone
You are losing the very thing that makes you you
Your Maker made you – beautiful, bold, delicate, firm, bubbly, calm, sweet, kind, dreamy, and in every way uniquely YOU
He gave you those ideas
He put those thoughts in your heart
But you’ve let the fear of “what people would think?” hinder you from stepping out on the waters Abba is calling you to
And sometimes, it’s the internal fear whispering “what if I never make it? Is it not better to look like everything is perfect instead of looking like a fool?”
Oh beloved
What the Father asks of you is
Faith like a mustard seed
Gentleness like a dove
Courage like a lion
And a foundation deeply rooted in Him
Like a child, you may mistakes
That shouldn’t stop you from adventuring “in God”
What is important is that you know Your Father is watching out for you
He is there with you every step of the way
As long as you listen, He guides
And if you misstep, you can quickly retrace your steps back to Him
If the building, because of the fear of the storm, refuses to be built
We would never be able to appreciate its beauty, resilience and architectural excellence
What it needs is the right foundation
Yes, you cannot control the storms that may come, but He promised that once you are rooted in Him
The storms can never bring you down
So friend
This is your permission
To step on the waters
To build and be built
To live boldly
And fully become who Abba called you to be
