OWNING 2018 FROM NOW

Happy New Month dearies.

I hope you are excited and full of hope for the new month? Welcome to the month that closes the door to 2017; it’s amazing how the year flies, I mean we were just in January some few days back right? Well, not exactly, but you get my drift, yeah?

First, I’ll like to ask you how the year has been so far. Share with me in the comment section.

For me, the year started on a not so great note, but right now, I could go on and on just singing praises to God for all that He has helped me achieve this year.

If you feel 2017 is not a good enough year, you have one month to rectify that. Moreso, you have to start planning for 2018 from now.

You might ask me, “but we are still in December!”

Yes I know, however, if you want 2018 to be your year, then you should have started planning for it, if not, then you need to start NOW. You shouldn’t wait for January 1, 2018, before you start writing out some goals you might not execute.

So as December takes flight, make plans for the new month, and even more for the new year. We’ve got to own 2018.

In 2017, we were INTENTIONAL, but in 2018, WE ARE OWNING THE YEAR. Let me explain:

At the beginning of 2017, one of the words God gave me for the year is INTENTIONAL, and I’ve tried as much as possible to live intentionally, and just a few days ago, a friend reminded me about intentionally following Jesus.

Last month, I began to think about 2018 and I felt God say, you’ve been intentional in 2017, in 2018, you are not just going to be intentional, YOU ARE GOING TO OWN THE YEAR. That resonated within me and I’ve begun to own 2018 already, are you with me on this?

There are so many steps to take to owning 2018, I’ll do a sequel post on crucial keys to owning 2018; for now i’ll mention the first 2 steps.

1. Determine to own 2018. The first step to owning 2018 is by first making an intentional decision to own the year. Intentional decide to own the year, to make the year the best you’ve ever had. Of course, there is the God-factor, you also need to pray it into reality.

2. Do an audit of 2017 as a whole. To make 2018 as awesome as you aim for it to be, you need to do an audit of how you spent 2017.

To prevent this post from been too long, I’ll share more steps in a sequel post. Till then, go do an audit of your 2017, and stay positive.
