You can actually conquer your fear of Monday or fear of a new week, you can start your new week like a boss that you are, and GO WIN. – Esthitude

Who hears the word “Monday” and sighs? Who else wishes that an extra day was added to the weekend?

Say the truth o, don’t come and be forming, I like the smell ‘abi’ sight of a new week.

The truth is many folks dread the start of a new week, we just want the weekend to go on forever, but hey, it doesn’t work that way. The weekend will not go on forever, and I’ve got good news..Yaay!!!

Is there a way to start the new week without wishing it was still the weekend? Read on.

You can actually conquer your fear of Monday or fear of a new week, you can start your new week like a boss that you are, and GO WIN.

N.B – This also applies to new months and a new year too.

Let me share a secret with you, actually two secrets this time… The first secret is called PLANNING.

One major way to start the new week feeling invigorated and refreshed is by planning.

Plan for the new week. You ask me how? Let me break it down

1. Plan your outfit for the week. Yes, plan your outfits and even iron them if possible. That way you won’t be rushing every morning, trying out 5 clothes before deciding on the one to wear which implies more time for other things.

2. Plan your weekly budget. This includes your proposed income and expenditure (as it applies to you).

Read here about why you should try de-clustering.

3. Plan your tasks. Your weekly schedule as you envision it should be planned out. Write out a to-do list for the specific days of the week and work towards achieving them. This can be subdivided into social tasks, spiritual tasks, personal tasks, etc.

4. Plan your food. This might not work for everyone, nay scratch that, it can work. Whether you are buying food or cooking it yourself, there is this calmness you experience when you’ve planned it ahead.

Of course, some of your plans might change, but then, you won’t be caught unawares.

Once in while decide to have a ‘me time’ or a ‘me and God time’.. – Esthitude

The other secret I want to share is resting.

If you are like me whose weekends are mostly booked, you might find it difficult to plan for the new week talkless of feeling refreshed.

So, once in while decide to have a ‘me time’ or a ‘me and God time’.

Find time to rest, rejuvenate and also plan for the new week. Sometimes, you might have to shelve some events/activities so that you don’t feel burned out at the start of a new week.

I’m sure you’ve learned a thing or two. Share with me how you plan to work on this, also share your questions, thoughts and suggestions with me.

Don’t forget to share this posts with your friends of it blessed you.
