This morning, as I woke up to have my devotion, my heart went again to my book – Love Letters to Abba. So, I picked it up to read. And oh, what joy, love and devotion rose in my heart as I journeyed through the pages.
In me, a desire welled, a call to renewed love for God, an urge to not only love up on my God as I usually did but to also challenge others to do the same.
And so I wrote to God, from my heart, a love letter. I thought about my life’s journey so far, and everything was a testament to God and His unfailing love to me. What else could I do but respond in love to this Love that never fails.

As I navigate life’s road
I’ve encountered the highs and lows
The beautiful and the painful
Some people stayed, some left
I’ve crossed seas and oceans
Travelled by road and air
I’ve resumed new jobs, and resigned from them
I’ve married, I’ve birthed a child
I’ve loved, laughed, cried, and hugged
I’ve learned so much about life
And I am still learning
That only One stays true through it all
The people you love dearly may hurt you
The things you truly appreciate may be taken away
But there is One that sticketh closer than a brother
Life may give you lemons
You may not even have the resources to make lemonade
But there’s a Water of Life that never runs dry

Oh Jesus, my Saviour
Oh Holy Spirit, my Comforter
What is life without You?
Where would I be if not for Your love?
Oh what a joy to be called Yours!
Today and forever, I bask in your love
I just want to stay here
And love You forever
You are my hiding place
You are my sweet perfume
You hide me in the hollow of Your hands
Oh how I love You!
I say yes to You, over and again!
I will forever love You, my God!
