WordCamp Lagos 2018 -The First of Its kind

WordCamp is an all-encompassing term referring to a conference, a community organized and officially sanctioned event to deal with all things WordPress (a free and open-source content management system (CMS) ).

WordCamp events have been held across the world, and it is coming for the first time to Nigeria; Lagos, Nigeria to be specific.

WordCamps come in all different flavours, based on the local communities that produce them and on March 10, 2018, the WordPress Community in Nigeria will converge for WordCamp Lagos.

The first official city WordCamp in Nigeria and West Africa. WordCamp Lagos will cover a variety of sessions featuring distinguished speakers and a variety of interesting topics involving but not limited to blogging, marketing, design, development and programming on the WordPress platform.

Everyone from casual users to core developers, bloggers, digital marketers, and designers will participate, share ideas, learn and network with one another.

As an attendee to WordCamp Lagos 2018, you should be prepared to learn new dimensions of and using WordPress. You will also have fun networking physically with other people who are just as obsessed with WordPress as they are or just as new to WordPress as you are. There will be an after-party for you to meet new friends, business partners, employees, employers, and life partner (who knows?).

The theme for WordCamp Lagos 2018 is: “Bringing the WordPress Community Closer” and it holds on the 10th of March 2018 at Civic Center, Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Opposite 1004, Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria.

WordCamp Lagos 2018 is charging N3500 for a full day event ticket, N1000 for a KidsCamp Ticket and N20,000 for a microsponsor ticket.
