Song of The Week: Olowogbogboro by Nathaniel Bassey

The Hallelujah Challenge, a one-hour midnight praise organized by Nathaniel Bassey, was one Instagram event that broke the internet in June this year.

Major hashtags for the event include #justlikethat, #suddenly, and #olowogbogboro. Olowogbogboro is a Yoruba word that means “The One (God) with an Outstretched Arm” and it has become a prophetic song with deep meaning. The song was co-written by Nathaniel Bassey and Wale Adenuga

I’ll be sharing in a bit lyrics of the song and links to download it. The song “Olowogbogboro” prophecies of how God with His outstretched arm is turning things around for our good, I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Olowogbogboro Lyrics:
[Intro]

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

For my good

For my good

[Verse 1 – Nathaniel]

Ko soun t’oo le se God

Heaven and earth adore you God

Your outstretched arm has given us victory

Miracles signs and wonders come from You

Testimonies just like that, oh!

Words are not enough to tell of all You’ve done

[Chorus]

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

For my good

For my good

[Verse 2 – Wale]

Who would have thought, Lord

That You would move this way, God

You whose path none can trace

Oluwa mi, mighty are your ways

You have done more than I want, oh!

There is nothing more to say

[Chorus]

Olowogbogboro has turned things around

Olowogbogboro has turned things around

Olowogbogboro has turned things around

For my good

For my good

[Bridge] 3x

Things have turned around for me

Now I’m walking in victory

Jesus turned it around for me

He has given me victory

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

Olowogbogboro is turning things around

We will shout Hallelujah

We will shout praise the Lord

We will dance in the spirit

And rejoice in Your name

From sunrise to sunset

We will shout praise the Lord

At the blast of the trumpet

Let Your praise fill the earth
