Too many a time we pray about our needs, about our inadequacies.
We pray our own prayers, but just like God’s word tells us in Isaiah, his ways are far from our ways and so are his thoughts.
Our prayers are more effective when we pray the heart of God, when we pray God’s will.
One effective way to do this is to lift praises to him, offering ourselves to him as an instrument of praise.
